Domaine Arlaud

👨‍🌾 History and Family

• Founded in 1942 by the marriage of Joseph Arlaud (Ardèche) and Renée Amiot (Burgundy family).

• Family succession: Hervé Arlaud took over in 1983, followed by his son Cyprien Arlaud in 2013.

• Today, the estate is a benchmark in Côte de Nuits.

📍 Location and Terroir

• Based in Morey-Saint-Denis, with historic 14th-century cellars in Nuits-Saint-Georges.

• Vineyard size: about 15 hectares.

• Produces 19 appellations, including Clos de la Roche, Clos Saint-Denis, Charmes-Chambertin, Bonnes Mares.

🌱 Philosophy and Practices

• Certified organic in 2010, biodynamic in 2014.

• Horse ploughing since 2003, manual harvests, natural vinifications without fining or filtration.

• Long aging (16–18 months) in old barrels.

🍇 Grapes and Cuvées

• Reds: Pinot Noir (main grape).

• Whites: Chardonnay, Aligoté.
