🍷 Domaine du Petit Bouchon: Living Wine and Radical Craft in Alsace

Founded in 2020 in Eichhoffen (Bas-Rhin) by Vincent and Sophie Larcelet, Domaine du Petit Bouchon is a 3.7-hectare family micro-estate named after their daughter Agathe’s nickname. Vincent, trained under Jura’s Jean-François Ganevat, farms very old vines (80–100+ years, including centenary Sylvaner) biodynamically, certified by Nature & Progrès. He uses no additives—not even sulfur—and works entirely by hand without tractors to preserve biodiversity.

🌿 Philosophy

  • Zero input, zero sulfite, 100% natural winemaking.

  • Herbal teas, plant-based purins, gentle pruning in cordon de Royat.

  • Creative co-fermentations, free-form cuvĂ©es under Vin de France or Alsace.

🍇 Grapes and Style

  • Sylvaner, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Muscat, Pinot Noir, Gamay, old hybrid varieties.

  • Vibrant wines, sometimes sparkling or orange, always distinctive.

  • Signature cuvĂ©es: Baboss, Mañana, La Vie est Belle, La Gamine, La Petite Soeur.
