Domaine la Grapp´A
Domaine La Grapp’A is a young vineyard in the Jura founded in 2021, recognized for its natural wines and commitment to organic and biodynamic farming.
🍇 Origins and Location Founded by Aurélie Parla and Julien Maublanc, the estate is located in Abergement-le-Grand, a few kilometers from Arbois, in the Jura. The vines have belonged to Julien’s family for several generations but were previously managed by a local cooperative. The couple gradually took back the parcels to vinify them themselves.
🌿 Philosophy and Agricultural Practices
Organic and biodynamic farming: all plots are cultivated without chemical inputs, using environmentally friendly practices.
Agroforestry in progress: integration of trees into the vineyards to promote biodiversity and soil resilience.
Natural winemaking:
Use of indigenous yeasts.
No fining or filtration.
Zero added sulfur.
Long macerations (2 to 5 weeks), often with whole-cluster fermentations.
