🍷 Domaine Franck Balthazar: Pure Craft and Exceptional Syrah in Cornas

Founded in 1931 by Casimir Balthazar, Domaine Franck Balthazar is located in Cornas, Northern Rhône Valley. Since 2002, Franck has carried on the family legacy alone, farming 3.5 hectares of vines—some over 100 years old—organically since 2010. The steep granite slopes are worked manually with pickaxe and winch. Vinification is traditional: whole clusters, native yeasts, concrete vats, long aging in large oak casks. Some cuvées are bottled without added sulfur. The wines combine depth, spice, elegance, and authenticity.
