🍷 Julien Delrieu: Artisan of Living Wines in Anjou
Based in Faveraye-Mâchelles, in the heart of Anjou, Julien Delrieu farms about 3.5 hectares organically on schist and clay soils facing east, along the Layon river. After co-founding Les Roches Sèches in 2010, he started his solo venture in 2017. A close friend of Marc Houtin and Stéphane Bernaudeau, Julien vinifies naturally: native yeasts, no additives, no added sulfur, no fining or filtration. His wines are vibrant, mineral, and highly drinkable, offering a sincere expression of Anjou’s terroirs.
