🍷 Julien Guillot – Clos des Vignes du Maynes: Historic Natural Wine and Burgundian Energy

Located in Cruzille, in the Mâconnais region of southern Burgundy, Clos des Vignes du Maynes is a historic estate founded in 910 by the monks of Cluny. It has never been chemically treated and has been farmed organically since 1954 and biodynamically since 1998. Julien Guillot, a passionate and committed winemaker, took over the family domaine with a radically natural approach: manual harvests, native yeasts, no additives, no added sulfur, no filtration. He works with classic Burgundian varieties (Gamay, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Aligoté) to produce vibrant, living wines with strong identity.
