La Garagista
🍷 La Garagista: Alpine Natural Wine and Rural Poetry in Vermont
Founded by Deirdre Heekin and Caleb Barber, La Garagista is a natural wine farm located in Barnard, Vermont (USA), on the slopes of Mount Hunger and in the Champlain Valley. The estate grows cold-climate hybrid grapes (Marquette, La Crescent, Frontenac, Brianna…) using organic, biodynamic, and permaculture methods. Wines are made naturally, with native yeasts, no additives, often aged in amphora or neutral barrels. La Garagista also produces ciders and fruit wines, embracing a holistic, artisanal approach. Each cuvée tells a story of place, season, and community.
