🍷 Le Due Terre: Natural Author Wines from Eastern Friuli

Founded in 1984 in Prepotto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Le Due Terre is the personal project of Silvana Forte and Flavio Basilicata, a trained oenologist. The name “Le Due Terre” refers to the two types of soil in their vineyards: marl (ponca) and clay. From the beginning, the couple embraced a hands-on, environmentally respectful approach rooted in Friulian tradition. On 5 hectares (3 owned), they grow native varieties like Schioppettino, Refosco, Friulano, and Ribolla Gialla. Winemaking is natural, with no fining or filtration and minimal sulfur. Their wines are pure, elegant, and deeply expressive.
