🍷 Lolita Sene: Southern Rhône Natural Wine, Bold and Uncompromising

Based in Rochefort-du-Gard in the Southern Rhône Valley, Lolita Sene is a self-taught winemaker with an unconventional background. Formerly an artistic director in Paris nightlife, she turned to wine after studying agronomy and working in wine shops and restaurants in the U.S. In 2018, she launched her domaine with one hectare of organically farmed vines (grenache, syrah, cinsault), supplemented by a small négociant activity. Her winemaking is fully natural—no additives, no added sulfites, spontaneous fermentation, and short aging. Each cuvée is a raw, artisanal, and expressive take on the Gard terroir.
