🍷 Martha Stoumen Wines: California Natural Wine Rooted in Patience, Diversity, and Freshness

Founded in 2014 by Martha Stoumen in Sebastopol, California, this winery represents a new wave of American winemakers committed to sustainable, artisanal viticulture. After gaining experience in Tuscany, France, Germany, Sicily, and New Zealand, Martha returned to California to craft natural wines that celebrate Mediterranean grape varieties and regenerative farming. She farms some vineyards herself and partners with multigenerational growers. Winemaking is slow and natural—no additives or sulfites—with aging in tanks, barrels, or amphorae. Her wines are fresh, vibrant, digestible, and deeply Californian.
