Olga Marraud des Grottes
🍷 Olga Marraud des Grottes: Beaujolais Natural Wine with Bold Craft and Radical Freedom
Located in Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières in the heart of Beaujolais, Olga Marraud des Grottes runs a small family estate of 2 hectares on granite soils. Her Gamay vines, averaging 40 years old, are farmed manually and with horse power, following organic principles. Olga vinifies only her own grapes, using native yeasts, no additives, no added sulfites, and varying maceration lengths depending on the cuvée. Her wines are vibrant, funky, and full of personality—just like the winemaker herself. She also works with hybrid grape varieties and explores bold, experimental winemaking.
