Radikon
🍷 Radikon: Natural Wine from Friuli Rooted in Skin Contact, Tradition, and Bold Craft
Located in Oslavia, on the border between Italy and Slovenia, Radikon is a global icon of orange wine. Founded by Stanko Radikon, a pioneer of extended skin maceration for white grapes, the estate is now run by his son Saša. On 10 hectares of biodynamically farmed vineyards, Radikon works with native varieties like Ribolla Gialla, Friulano, and Pignolo, as well as international grapes like Merlot and Chardonnay. Grapes are harvested at full ripeness and vinified without additives, with long skin contact (up to 3 months) and extended aging in large casks. The wines are powerful, deep, vibrant, and reflect a radical vision of living wine.
