Founded in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli, Samaroli is one of the first non-British independent bottlers to specialize in rare and exceptional spirits. Initially acclaimed for its Scotch whisky selections, the house later expanded into rum with the same commitment to quality and uniqueness. Samaroli sources rare casks from around the world (Jamaica, Fiji, Nicaragua, etc.) and ages them in Scotland, where the milder climate allows for slower, more refined maturation. Each release is limited, unchill-filtered, uncolored, and often bottled at cask strength. Today, Silvano’s legacy lives on through a passionate team that continues to craft rums of elegance and character.
