Vinas Mora
🍷 Vinas Mora: Croatian Natural Wine Rooted in Sea, Stone, and Babić Heritage
Founded in 2020 in Primošten, a UNESCO-listed fishing village on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, Vinas Mora is a cooperative project led by sommelier/importer Kreso Petrekovic and natural wine advocate Niko Dukan. Their mission: to preserve the native Babić grape and protect the region’s historic vineyards from tourism-driven decline. Vines, many over a century old, grow on rocky terraces between sea and mountains in harsh conditions. Farming is organic, and winemaking is natural — no additives, no filtration. The wines are vibrant, saline, and mineral-driven, expressing the soul of Primošten’s stone-laced terroir.
