Vincze Tomi
🍷 Vincze Tomi: Hungarian Natural Wine Rooted in Family Heritage and Micro-Craft Vinification
Located in Tokaj, northeastern Hungary, Vincze Tomi is run by Tomi Vincze, a passionate young winemaker who inherited a small family vineyard during university. Today, he farms about two hectares across the historic plots of Hosszúhegy and Szemince, first mentioned in 1238. He works solo, using organic and artisanal methods: hand-harvesting, gentle pressing with a restored manual press, spontaneous fermentation, and minimal sulfur. Wines are made in a 20 m² garage in Sárospatak, with micro-batches of under 1500 bottles. His style is pure, vibrant, and honest — reflecting Tokaj’s volcanic terroir and a free-spirited approach.
